Over the years, Dan Shelley has been featured in some of South Carolina's most prestigious publications and one of his creations made it's way to the big screen.
In 1986, while showing his furniture at the Market in Charleston SC, Dan's work was discovered by one of the producers of the movie, MADE IN HEAVEN starring Kelley McGillis and Timothy Hutton. Dan accepted a commission to design and craft an ornate canopy bed expressly for a scene in which Ms. McGillis floats over a lake while dreaming in a bed sure to inspire dreams.
