Combing traditional ideas with my own creative discoveries cultivated over four decades of handcrafting willow furniture,
I personally make and put my heart into each piece. I am very selective of the quality of willow, using only the straightest
material and matching bark textures symmetrically, each piece of willow is chosen with a specific style of furniture in mind.
After meticulously harvesting the willow from the Coastal and Pee Dee Regions of South Carolina, it is bent and handcrafted
while the wood is green, then, hand trimmed, and beveled with all saw marks whittled off. This is part of my Dan Shelley Originals
process. Finally, each piece is dried in a wood-fired kiln before a no-gloss three-way wood sealant is generously applied.
After individually wrapping each item in plastic, your handcrafted willow creation is professionally packaged and boxed
before being shipped via freight to your door or business location.
Owning artisan handcrafted willow furniture is a treasure . Please allow six to eight weeks for your special willow creation to arrive.
